I think Kim is saying that some people expect to much ..and they do. You will never again hear another It's a Sin or Left To My Own Devices. They are classics that are untouchable. No band will ever be able to produce anything thats anywhere near as good.
I doubt one of the slow songs will be in Being Boring's league either. So some of you better get out your stress balls.

I've heard enough to make up my mind about it. But I'm happy if you've been privileged enough to listen to Fundament. It's all about relations. It's better to have some than none even if it does not include your favourite group.

As I already said, I've only heard 'I'm with stupid' & 'Luna Park' & I love them both

How can you tell from 12 x 30 second samples?
I bet your feelings change once you hear the whole CD.

By hearing Integral and Minimal in full, proves 30 second samples cannot be relied upon. If anything, they make the songs sound average.
If people are giving a opinion on an album by hearing 30 second samples, they should be fed to the lions for being morons

Maybe you're right, but I also know enough from the samples. They describes me very clear, that 'Stupid', 'Gomorrah', 'Integral' and 'Minimal' are the runners on the album.
All other tracks are mid-tempo tracks, which isn't enough for me! Madonna's "Confession On A Dancefloor" album was a really good album (for me), cause I always skip 'Isaak' only...
But from the samples, I'm pretty sure, I will skip 'Indefinite Leave To Remain', 'Casanova in hell' and maybe 'I Made My Excuses And Left'.
Psycho and 'Twentieth Century' definitely will grow on me like 'Dreaming of the queen' did.
Thats what I really can get from the samples!

But we were never being morons......we had too much time to play with ourselves!

The sample sounds not only slow but dreadful.

So you prefer a fast uptempo song like "Radiophonic" to something like "Being Boring" or "Violence"? I don't think you can write off the slow songs as most people who have heard the album already think "I Made My Excuses and Left" and "Indefinite Leave To Remain" are among the highlights.

Hmm yes up-tempo is always welcome! But on the other side I love 'Always' too which isn't up-tempo, but melodic. So hopefully there will be some more melodic tracks on Fundamental. 'Twentieth Century' IS, and that is, why I think it will grow on me, althrough it isn't up-tempo!

Why argue so much?
I like I'm with stupid, got Minimal today and it was instant love, didn't like Luna park initally but it's growing on me fast.
Opinions of others don't change anything about how I like PSB songs
