A really fantastic funny and thought provoking read. Written in a very self depreciating style, it will get you to question everything that gets told to you "as fact."

Well worth the £4 that it's going for at the moment.

Still reading Last Night A DJ Saved My Life...

Was at a book store today.. and i always go to the music section to find some PSB reference in any books

Found a book called Six decades of Singles. Awesome book (a little expensive) but loads of info and pictures. It Had a column on Pet Shop Boys'
West End Girls.. also said that this song had influenced 2 bands' names.. which ones i wonder(and i'm sure West End girls the band would be one of them)

But there was a mistake in the book.. it said Please spawned 4 Number One singles

!! Seems they have to get their facts straight..

Selfportraits' describing pieces of arts by Andy Warhol in en ex-

I love the German cover of "Boy in Striped Pyjamas", Pani. Hope you enjoyed it.

West 4th, Devil in White City was very good. The author's follow up was excellent too, "Thunderstruck". God, i miss the SF public library. BTW: Your "Don't be a Betch" sig pic is the YouTube shoe guy, right?

Have you seen Weezer's "Pork & Beans"? He makes a star turn, the video's full of YouTube celebs and oddities. I'm sure you have seen it already- v enjoyable video. Gotta love the freaks.

I just finished reading "Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell" by Susanna Clarke. It was dark, witty and quite original. Highly recommended.
I just started reading "The Prefect" by my favorite SF-writer Alastair Reynolds. If it is anything like his other works, it will be hugely entertaining and contain some of the most cynical characters in modern fiction.

I've been meaning to read "Jonathan Strange.." for over a year, heard wonderful things about it- ordered it finally today. I don't usually read "fantasy" genre, but they say Susannah Clarke (?) did something quite amazing and literary with that book. Looking forward to it. Shrieking, sentient mirrors that are alive? I'm in.
