I was lucky enough to meet Neil and Chris following their gig in Belfast waaaaaaayyy back then. I was simply gobsmacked! There they were, the Pet Shop Boys, walking towards us, reaching out to shake hands and sign autographs and all I could say to Neil was "Bloody hell, you're bald!!"
I couldn't help it! I was thinking out loud! It was like having tourettes. I can only pray that he had a problem understanding Northern Ireland accents, but he was an exceedingly pleasant fellow and graciously signed everything I shoved into his hands.
Shamed, yet again!
