glennjridge, it is beautiful - and at the moment - very hot. I wouldnt worry so much about the spiders - Have you seen a movie called Wolf Creek?

Now THAT'S something to worry about!

It was funny to read further up this thread, someone say "who are The Pixies" when in my search for more info on the V Festival, a Pixies thread somewhere said "Who likes the PSB anymore?"

I think 2manydjs will be good, and Soulwax, and I will make a point of listening to some The Rapture tracks before I go....

Gday fellow Aussies.

I envy you. I have waited 10 years for a tour but now due to poor health I have
no chance of attending a festival venue. Heartbroken.

If anyone hears of news of a concert in Sydney with better facilities like the
Entertainment Centre, please post here. I would be much obliged.

Hello Greg, and welcome :)
I think it's safe to say there will definitely be some sideshows apart from the festival. I can't imagine them coming all this way just to do two festival dates. In a Radio 6 interview a few months back Neil said that they would be performing at the Opera House, including possibly doing Potemkin. I think we will know about additional tour dates early in the new year, so keep your fingers crossed!

This may be old news, but on the official psb page - under tours - it says "Two dates are being announced now but there will be more."

Ch-Ch-Cheer!!
