OK, I'm off to bed, so I'll close this round after a full day. Psychological gets the boot!

Ironically (not that it matters anymore) I would normally have voted for Psychological, which I consider WAY weaker than I'm With Stupid. I agree with your comment about BYT too, by the way. Bizarre to see such a good song get 6 votes already. I guess I don't understand much of the taste of average/random PSB fans....BlueSwan wrote:BTW, this is the score thus far:
Psychological: 10 votes
Indefinite Leave To Remain: 9 votes
I'm With Stupid: 8 votes (Dvtb's vote NOT deducted, since there's no tie)
Bright Young Things: 6 votes (speaking of strange choices in this round)
DJ Culture is actually one of my 3 favourite PSB singles.Frequency wrote:I happen to put DJ Culture in my top 5 tracks, which I know isn't a popular track, so there you go. I'm pretty sure there are PSB classics that you're not particularly enamoured with (I'd be interested to know which, just to see where you're coming from as a PSB fan or, more specifically, your top 10 PSB tracks).
Your assumuption is correct, although ILTR almost kicked it off the #1 spot. I can understand very well that The Survivors isn't everyones favourite PSB track, but that's something different than calling it crap, unlistenable, label it as part the worst 10% of PSB songs, or something similar. People with that opinion about The Survivors are no music lovers, no PSB fans in my eyes. It's in fact not a new statement. I posted this yeeeears ago on the official PSB site in my profile.BlueSwan wrote:..or indeed tracks that Dvtb loves which aren't regarded very highly. I seem to recall that his favourite PSB track is "The Survivors", which isn't really rated THAT highly by fans in general.

This will be my last post.
If you want to stop posting because I think your music taste is poor, please do so. I consider my comments not offensive nor insulting at all. I've seen FAR worse things on this and other forums.

I think many are shaking their head (and fist) at the voting.
We should all put our emotion aside for this risky exercise.

Seconded.Actually, it'd be a good poll to do again 1 year after the fact.
