Enjoyed hearing the Dreaming of the Queen instrumental.
i think that instrumental is the best part of this whole project. Wouldn't it be lovely if we got an album of Very Instrumentals as part of this cash-in roll they seem to be on?..

I've been doing it here for 32 years with no problems. Buy yourself a decent kettle (Smeg is our choice) and have a cuppa in 5 minutes or less.

In the blurb it says limited to 300.

For the price of the tea sets I would have expected a PSB themed tea towel to also be included.

We use an old school kettle on the stove here in Canada. Piping hot cuppas all round!

Absolutely awful idea and considering the price, the design just looks cheap and tacky.
The whole promoting 40 years of PSB is quite surprising to be honest. Literally one of the last things said in the recent Then & Now documentary:
Neil: We don't do legacy. Well we don't do we?
Chris: No interest.
They say they don't like to be considered an 80s band - not allowing their songs to appear on 80s compilations etc - but now they're happy to push the whole 'been around since 1984' thing. Very strange.
It's certainly not being done for financial reasons - the last few years of Dreamworld/Unity tours will have made them a few quid.

Too expensive for me. I think it's excessive. I think there are other materials coming out that are worth the money instead of this. For example, the Dreamworld DVD or the upcoming Annually. If I bought everything I would be broke. I think I can live without this.

Probably a bigger market for a 12” box set/CD box set than the market for £600 tea sets!

Over the years (and from quite early on) I've found them to be quite contradictory. A charity song? Never! Abs Fab would like a word.
I think, as I mentioned, they're probably looking to "wind down" and legacy is really all that's left for them to do. Becker management has been their guiding light for a while now, and I suspect much of it is to do with them having some very "real" conversations about where they see themselves in 5-10 years time.

In the official newsletter: More „Pet Shop Boys since 1984“ products, including clothing, will follow in due course.
I think there“s a chance for a Adidas shoe designed by Chris. He attended an Adidas event a few month ago and he met the Adidas design boss.
