Fair enough for playing West End girls. It's your breakthrough hit and probably the song you're most famous for, but I've no idea what the obsession is with the Bowie cover. Hopefully the Strictly song selection will be different but I very much doubt it.

Can anyone confirm that the PSB performance was actually covered on the international TV footage? I recorded the programme on both Comedy Central and MTV in the UK and both seemed to end immediately after Aaron Taylor Johnson’s speech. Unless there was something wrong with my feed? They were definitely included in the Channel 5 coverage though.

That is pretty fantastic. I keep wondering what I'd think if I were a teenager seeing them for the first time. I'd hope I'd be intrigued by these old weirdos.
They probably think the same as we do about the rest of the award show…

The MTV YouTube link is geoblocked for me. (Fret not, I have a VPN)
Pete Gleadall has also posted a big old chunk of the performance to his Instagram:

Recorded through Sky Q (Channel 5) and half way through PSB's the recording cut off!

My Sky Q stopped recording the Comedy Central channel at 10.58pm (during the awards speech). I assume it’s because the show was running over - mainly because Busty Rhymes did an absolute age of an acceptance speech. Haven’t checked the Channel 5 footage yet.

Thank you!

I was wondering if it was over running. Sky usually records a couple of mins before anything starts but, not so much after as I found out.

I assume AT-J picked up the award for most smug and punchable face.

I've watched this performance a few times, and I'm still not sure about All the young dudes. I
I guess MTV gave them a window of about five minutes to perform, so we were never going to get the medley we all hoped for.
The set design was as usual first class - subtle details to their history - the pointy hat styled lighting where Neil and Chris were both standing, the orchestra with their own pointy hats, and the Lynne Page dancers wearing masks and coats from the performances over recent years.
The violin sequence at the end of West End girls.. wow.
I hope the younger audience appreciated this performance. As for Busta Rhymes.. his speech just went on. And his performance.. absolutely no idea what was being said.
Sadly the UK news is focusing on the awards host Rita Ora paying tribute to Liam Payne, rather than the award winners.
