PSB are showing no signs of slowing down, and to suggest otherwise is pretty offensive.

Next year's will be very interesting with behind the scenes of Obscure. Pity they didn't bring this year's date ahead and have it at the merchandise stands.

I suppose we'll see if these song choices pan out for someone.

Mine arrived this morning. Nothing of interest really. The "20 Objects" feature is 20 pages of filler TBH. There's a near 20 page Chris Heath account of the days around the Warwick Castle gig last year which is entertaining in the typical way that Chris Heath pieces like this are. Only 2 pages of letters.

I haven’t received my copy yet, but I do find it disappointing that the letters section has been abbreviated in recent years. I always found that one of the most interesting sections.

Sorry to disappoint you but they have more than 10 years left of doing things that they love to do. They will stop touring at some point, though.

I tend towards thinking that the reason they are pushing the Dreamworld Tour so much is because it is/will be their last world tour. If you think of it in those terms, then they're just letting everyone see them one last time before it all becomes a bit more like Obscure......

I'm inclined to agree. Dreamworld is essentially their farewell tour. I'm hoping for proper releases for Man from the Future and Naked before they pack it in, along with another album or two or three and a final b-sides collection.

I'd also love a parting gift (perhaps with Annually) in the form of an album of pre-Parlophone demos, including the officially unreleased tracks we know are floating around.

Anyone who attended Obscure will surely agree that it was clear just how well Neil and Chris are doing, how good their condition is and how much joy they derive from their work. Provided there are no short-term health complications, they will continue to write, record and release music, as well as touring. Apart from the fact that it is what they love doing most, it also gives their lives structure and meaning.

In other words, Dreamworld is not their farewell tour. If it were, they would certainly have announced it. Any speculation suggesting an imminent end to PSB is completely unfounded. Having seen Neil and Chris at the Obscure gigs is the best proof of that.
