Dont get me started on Williams. I LOATHE the man to the point where I scare myself. He CANNOT, CANNOT sing. He is on a kareoke level. AND THAT IS THE TRUTH.

He is not ELVIS PRESLEY. He is not FREDDIE MERCURY. 'Angels' aside, (which he didn't even write) name one song that is deemed a 'great' song? A classic? There's nothing. And yet the UK thinks he is the best thing ever.

WHY? :?

Er, off topic slightly but hey, I'm an angry lad.

When Chris started playing Its A Sin and that organ, I thought we are in for a treat here. How wrong I was.

Like a couple of previous comments, it was way too short (yes lets wait for the DVD). It was like an express train through their career.

From an outsiders look, it appears Bobby O made the hit version of West End Girls, they didnt release anything between Introspective and Nightlife, have never worked with such amazing artists like Liza etc and WTF was New York city boy doing there?!!!

I would like to have seen some behind the scenes studio stuff. Lets actually see what Chris does.

Overall, it kept me awake under 12:10am. Disappointed with the amount of adverts in the advert break.

Other points of note. When Chris was out and about in Blackpool, he reminded me of that geezer in The Fast Show..

Brilliant!!!

And just how long was Neil sitting in that chair for. It was light when he first started to talk and pitch black at the end.

Roll on the DVD.
Chris is the Guy from the Fast show thats what he does in his spare time  .

The Flat Neil was in would be around the 1 mill mark as they start at 250k..

Just watched the show, yes, far too short. How about a four disc DVD special edition a la Peter Jackson! I'd buy it

Surprised they didn't interview Elton or Janet, or Liza, the list goes on. Of course, it must be a very difficult job knowing what to use and what not, who to speak with etc.

You know, I've never really thought about it too much, but many of us have followed and been fans of Neil & Chris for 20 years. 20 Years!! For me, that's more than half of my life. And you know what? I got the same thrill and had the same level of interest watching this show tonight and listening to Fundamental in the last few days as I did listening to Please and watching West End Girls on Top Of The Pops all those years ago.

Neil wasn't in a flat, that was the waiting area for the restaurant on the top floor of the Baltic Art Gallery in Gateshead.

I really enjoyed that bit. Such a great song.

Really liked it, but when it jumped to Nightlife I was like "huh"?

I understand that there is a longer version coming out on DVD but as far as the TV version goes for them to miss Very and show NCYB is ludicrous.

Yep I recorded the analogue signal (no digital TV here yet!) through my PCTV card in four parts set at DVD quality (total size 2.2GB)....last night I made my first DVD with the I'm With Stupid video and TOTP perfromances on it as well. I also made a menu too with Integral playing and Fundamental album background too. I'm quite pleased with it. :D

I agree about the Very & Bilingual bypass....shocking IMO

Good to see an in depth part on Being Boring and getting quite a bit of praise :D

I'll make do with a DVD later this year unless anyone would be nice enough to post a tape to Thailand

What I really enjoyed in the documentary was that they filmed Chris seperately to Neil, so that he actually had to talk for extended periods, instead of his usual trick of letting Neil warble on and then stealing the show ith a sardonic one-liner...

I looove the bit where Chris plays that organ. It was so fabulous. I was shivering when listening to it. If someone claims Chris doesn´t do anything or can´t play you have to show that to them. :D He´s so talented, really. I´ve watched that bit few times now.
