Really? Are those girls English? I thought that this name was used for a woman only in the films / series with Anne Parillaud / Bridget Fonda / Peta Wilson. Nikita sounds like a female name to English ears, probably because of the "a" on the end. The same is true of Nicola and Andrea which are female names in English, but male in other languages.
