I heard lately some remix of Dancing Star in my gym. Two times. :)
First time I was like...wait it sounds like PSB??
But I could not share my excitment with the two twenty something girls next to me 😀

IDOSAC is on UK McDonald’s Christmas in-house music playlist for at least the 2nd year this year (2009 EP version)

In the UK I'd expect it. To hear it on the radio in Canada this morning blew my mind!

I don't wanna go out.
I don't wanna go shopping.

Very appropriate for this time of year!

I have a new one- I heard Monkey Business being played in a pub in the seaside town of Broadstairs in Kent. I heard it in the background and thought “oooh this sounds a great song” and it took a minute or so for to realise what it was!

As an aside, I sort of moved on from all of Hotspot very quickly in 2020 and I’ve never really gone back to it. It’s the only PSB album that I’ve largely disowned. I think it’s because it reminds me of that run in to the pandemic. It wasn’t a fun time. But hearing Monkey Business again has made me think that I might give the record a spin again to see what it’s like six years later….

You may still be wondering why Decide and An Open Mind aren't on the list, and if the wedding song is included.

Not the oddest place but was in Sister Ray records Soho yesterday and spotted Elysium CDs on sale for £3.99. Next thing a German guy noticed I was looking at PSB and picked up Introspective. He seemed delighted that Domino Dancing was on it but longer than the standard version. I told him it was a fantastic extended mix to which he then said “It’s worth it just for that!” and promptly bought it. Thank me later Boys 😂

It Doesn't Often Snow At Christmas was played at the Grimsby Town v Shrewsbury game last night.

Two years on the trot!

Heard Se a vida é (That's the Way Life Is) not long ago in Bauhaus (a garden centre kind of store) in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Also Can You Forgive Her? in Kaufland (a supermarket chain) in my hometown in Croatia, on Boxing Day.

Currently in the UK visiting family before heading up to Lytham and got dragged out to trivia night* at the local pub last Tuesday.

Probably not surprising to hear PSB through the speakers in a pub - what WAS surprising was that the track in question was Loneliness! (And it sounded pretty good!).

* We came a respectable third.

I love the mad breakdown in the full version - it's probably my favourite part of the song. The 7" feels empty without it. I hope old mate was pleased with his purchase.

Retro. :)

Just love the extended version. Reminds me of good times.
