I was surprised to read that Hot Chip are allegedly dismissive of PSB. I’ve been a fan of Hot Chip for years and appreciate that they seem like pretty down-to-earth, cool guys. They’re also a really good live band.
All three of the new Alexis Taylor solo singles are great as well. I’m looking forward to his new album Paris in the spring.

As a Hot Chip fan along with Tracey Thorn/Ben Watt/EBTG then did remix Tracey Thorn's cover of 'Kings Cross' from 2007. So in a way...
Boards Of Canada, Aphex Twin, The Orb and Four Tet remixing PSB would be interesting but highly unlikely. BOC are elusive and go a fair time between releases and have only done a handful of selective remixes.
Anyone notice that the opening 12 seconds of 'Happy People' sounds like a BOCish interlude?
What about Orbital? Them performing 'Chime' unplugged on TOTP the same year as 'So Hard' made me a young fan of electronic music.
not so much Hot Chip but Joe Goddard seems to have remixed everyone under the sun. Quite surprised he hasn't done a mix, could see it being pretty good as well

Tony De Vit ? massive name in the dance music world in the 1990s . Other names which sprang to mind were Sharp and also Matt Darey.

one I forgot, and linked to the Dreamworld tour for the intro, was Maceo Plex. That would have been cool. He did one of my favourite remixes ever of ROyskopps 'Sordid Affair'

I would love Royksopp to have a go at remixing or producing PSB. The Profound Mysteries albums were great and the rest of their back catalogue speaks for itself.

After hearing what Pnau did with Elton’s back catalogue, I’d love to hear them after they’ve got their hands on The Boys’ stems.

Again I might be wrong. Sorry if I am but I think that they refused to remix them? Which is a kick in the boll@#ks because they remixed erasure

Not sure I recall anything about Royksopp refusing to remix them? Can anyone confirm?
Which Erasure track have Royksopp remixed?

From back In the day, surprised Jellybean or John Luongo never got asked/commissioned, especially with their US Club influence.
Never heard of Jon Luongo...
Coincedentally i took delivery of just a mirage on 12 inch yesterday. CLASSIC.
OH Luongo remixed a LOT of big names and classics back in that days!!

...although it was never one of my favorites...
I would have loved to hear an extended version from Thompson & Barbiero of any of their early hits, but that didn't happen either. Or John "Tokes" Potoker... who also created great extended versions on those days...
