1) Pet Shop Boys (old style-Golden years, making reference to one of the most well known hits: It's a sin).

2) Trevor Horn (well known and commercial producer).

3) Diane Warren (commercial song-writer).

4) Remixing Madonna (including vocals of Neil on it, which is always something good to get the attention of music industry).

5) Little Britain, maybe (the most famous comedy in uk).

If they don't get the top 3 at least with one of their singles or with the album it would be disappointing. They CAN'T have much more help.

I agree. I just hope it's not kept of the top by another shite RnB single.

Maybe they won´t get that big success as when West End girls and It's a sin were released. But hoping to see new huge hit.
Btw, attention to all finns, Little Britain will be on Subtv from 6th January forward. I´ll be watching it.

According to one Spanish fan: in one very famous Spanish radio, it was said that Pet Shop Boys were going to coming back with a new album wich one promised a great return to the top of the charts of the best electric group of the last decades.

Whilst I think we can expect a critical success in the UK by the advanced conjecture so far, I can't see Minimal going top 3, or top 5 for that matter.

Although the characters of Little Britain appear in the video?

Sales will still rely upon their strength of the song and airplay, promotion etc.

PSB would have to win over a whole new generation who are buying records by the likes of Shayne Ward and Westlife to achieve this. I'm not saying it's impossible but they've got their work cut out I think.

Little Britain is not so important to make PSB get the #1, then.

I also wonder what the little britain video means for the chart positions in the rest of europe - at least in Germany no one has ever heard of the show, making it unlikly that the video will see a heavy airplay...

It'll certainly help the video in the UK. I have no idea about anywhere else though.

I own the original dvd of the complete first series and it's quite funny but sure most of the people haven't ever heard a single word of it. I don't think that MINIMAL is going to get much AIRPLAY on MTV/IVA(+) so it's probably not that important?

It's up to us and to make those close to us to buy their album and their single, isn't it?
