PSB and Madonna on Logo newsbreak

Just a few minutes ago I was watching the U.S. cable TV channel "Logo" (if you're not familiar with it, it has "gay-focused" programming), and during one of their frequent brief newsbreak segments they reported that (as we all know by now) the Pet Shop Boys have remixed Madonna's next single "Sorry." They also noted that the Boys' new album will be released this spring. They even had a brief video segment of a recent PSB performance, although I couldn't tell which one or where. (Possibly it was a Potemkin show.)

Cool stuff that can only help generate interest and sales. Now if only the "mainstream media" would do as much.

But isn't USA mainstream media into Eminem, 50 Cent and Mariah Carey too much? Only Madonna, U2 and No Doubt's Gwen has managed to break the rule...

He said it was on a "gay" cable channel so that's why they would be reporting it. I don't think I get this channel though, I'll have to check my Time Warner lineup.

Upon further investigation I do get LOGO. It turns out this is from the MTV network. I guess they did make their gay channel after all.
