Artwork for Fundamental

I'm wondering what it's going to be like. I hope the 'Release'-design team, (can't remember their name), got the boot and Farrow is on again.

Personally I hope it's going to be very abstract like the sleeves of the 'Introspective' and 'Very' albums!
What do you think/want?

We'd have to expect a lot of
artsy-fartsy formats, then ...

You are joking arent you, Vince?

The artwork for Introspective is simply stunning. So simple and so effective. It stood out from all the other releases on the shelf at the time.

I totally agree! And please keep in mind that that design looks *way* better on LP than on CD or tape. I still love that sleeve to bits!
Come to think of it, I still have the in-store poster of 'Introspective'!

Do you prefer N+C on the cover or just "art" ? :D

Depends how it's done I guess...
But the title 'Fundamental' and the fact it's going to be an electronic-sounding album is reason enough for me to go for abstract!
...They can have pictures in the booklet though...

Agree... I think Release cover is brilliant but not that
what I wanted as as PSB cover...

Suburbia and In the night cover is only N+C but
that is on the other hand brilliant...

but years has gone now :? :D

The Introspective sleeve is fantastic but it's not strictly *theirs*, is it?

It belongs to all the gayers.

I don't have an association with a gay flag when I see the Introspective sleeve, must be you ;)
The screaming sleeve is good too, better than the Neil cover, that one was awful! I'd never give my permission to be on a 100.000 singles pictured like that anyway.

As far as covers go, I've always been partial to the cover of "Actually".

That being said, if they go with a pic of the Boys, I think it's be nice to see something ''artsy'', and without costumes.

If they're not gonna be on the cover, I think another cool, textured case of some kind would be neat; like maybe a hybrid of "Very" or "Bilingual" (cool cases) and "Introspective" (cool colors).
