WOW!!! Finally a 7"---and a picture disc at that!!! It has been a long time in comng.
"Formats - 17 March '06
Pet Shop Boys' new single, "I'm with Stupid", will be released on three formats: CD, DVD and picture disc 7" vinyl. Release date is May 8.
The new album, "Fundamental", will be released on CD and vinyl. There will also be a limited two-CD special edition with a bonus CD of dance tracks and mixes. The complete track-listing will be announced here soon. Release date is May 22."

Euch! 7" picture disc!!!!!!!!
I wud much rather have a 2nd cd personally.
I know a lot of groups have been putting out a 7" vinyl as part of their chart eligable packages, but do they still sell???

but is a chart eligable package also:
CD1, CD2 and DVD.
I think 3 formats can count towards the chart.
I wondering where the mixes will be.Perhaps the CD has only mixes of stupid. The DVD has the video plus one of the two mentioned bonus tracks.
But what could be on the 7`? The single version and another mix or another of the two bonus tracks. Confused
NO 12" very strange.
Which mixes should be on the bonus CD of fundamental? Could it be that we get another kind of relentless like CD??

7" vinyls are selling better than they have for atleast 10 years. Many new bands are releasing limited editon vinyl-only singles to get hyped up and you only have to go in large HMV's to see how many 7" vinyls are knocking about.

Yeah, they sell loads of 7" vinyls at my HMV!
I think all the indie kids buy them o_O

yeah, wow! Almost like getting Disco 4 at the same time. Presumably the fact it's dance tracks AND mixes means we will be getting some NEW tracks!
Maybe that is what Richard X has been working on.

Only one CD format? Weird.
However, the fact that it's coming out on DVD makes me think the video will be something special.
Little Britain? They can feature extra audio tracks on DVD's too.

I don't think they mean there will be only one CD. i think they were just stating what formats will be available.
