(Hi, I know this request should be posted in the Meet-up forum, but there seems to be not much activity there, so I decided to post it here. If this is not correct, then apologies and please move it to the appropiate forum)

Anyway... I am going to the London Tower gig all by myself and although I don't speak english that well (and I'm kind of shy...) I would like to meet some fellow Pet-fans before the concert. I am thinking of flying to London tuesday 27 june and leaving on thursday the 29th.

Does anyone here fancy a meeting?

Greetings,
Grover, The Netherlands.

I remember visiting the Astoria concert back then and that it was really nice to meet fellow fans at the meeting before the gig. Is there anybody interested in something like this again?

Do I recall getting very drunk in an Irish pub with you afterwards? Girls dancing on the bar and all that?
Great night!
One pethead said she had to catch the bus to 'crotch end' that night. She meant couch end. How we laughed tho.

If they want an authentic Irish pub feel, they'll have to ban smoking.
Funny thing is, no pubs in Ireland are like those theme pubs anymore.

Nope, unfortunately me and my girlfriend went to our hotel afterwards. But we met a group of people before the concert in the London Dive Bar. I thought maybe fans (from england and abroad) would like to have a drink before and after the Tower Concert, but apparently I am the only one thinking this....

People's Republic of Cork.

(We reject that Dublin, or Dumpland as we call it, is the capital).

They're a shy bunch. They went into mourning when the Dive Bar shut down.
