Ive just had this e-mail..


Thank you for registering your interest in the outdoor screening of Battleship Potemkin on Monday 1 May 2006. The event has proved to be a huge success and demand for tickets was very high.

We are pleased to confirm that you have been successful in your request for xxx ticket(s) and they will be sent out in the post from 17th April.Looking for accommodation?

If you are travelling to this event and looking to book accommodation, we have arrangements with a number of hotels where you can book your accommodation securely online via credit/debit card. NewcastleGateshead is a popular place to visit - especially on a Bank Holiday weekend! and hotels are already extremely busy, so it is advisable to book as soon as possible.

No problem, but please let us know as soon as possible by emailing Stephen.Farrell@ngi.org.uk so that we can reallocate your tickets to others.

Event Notes: This is an outdoor event. Access to Swan Hunter Shipyards is from 6pm. Pre-show entertainment from 8.30pm, Pet Shop Boys and Battleship Potemkin begins at 9pm. The screening should last about 70 minutes.

We recommend you get to the yard by 8.00pm at the latest.

Please use public transport as there will be no public parking - Wallsend Metro station is just a 2 minute walk from the shipyards, there are also bus services to Wallsend from throughout the region. This is a standing event; picnic chairs and tables will not be permitted on the site. Disabled attenders will be catered for. Catering vans will be on the premises as well as the sale of alcohol. You will not be allowed to bring your own alcohol into the event with you. No glass will be allowed on site, random searches will be undertaken to enforce this policy. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The organisers reserve the right to remove persons from the site who are causing offence to other guests or staff.

Also got the email to confirm I have tickets Wahooooooo what a day..... Just this morning I booked my tickets for the Concert in the Forest.....

Things are looking good for 2006 !!!
