...and i get an answer. I asked about the remix if he left the vocals or not. This is what he replied. But what is a middle eight????

I think you will like the remix - I'm quite a purist when it comes to
remixing - i think the original melody and vocals should always be used
in some form. I've kept all the vocals exept for the middle eight and
outro, which I didnt think fit my version due to the style of vocal
Neil used in those parts.

"middle eight" is another term for the bridge in a song

It's what some people call the bridge of a song. The bit that's not the verse or chorus.

For stupid is the middle eight the part where he sings "

Is stupid really stupid
or a different kind of smart?
Do we really have a relationship
so special in your heart?"

or is it the part followed where is nearly no music

Oh-oh, I'm with Stupid
Oh-oh, I'm with Stupid

It's:

Is stupid really stupid
or a different kind of smart?
Do we really have a relationship
so special in your heart?"

Other good middle eights by PSB:

So hard (Everybody's got to...)
So sorry, I said (How tough it gets..)
One more chance (You're so extreme...)
It's a Sin (Fater, forgive me...)
Heart (Everytime I feel your heartbeat next to me...)
Up against it (Wrapped in nostalgia...)
DJ culture (Now as a matter of pride...)
Ghost of myself (Haunted by my shy self...)

..and, least we forget:
Nightlife (And when your heart has come around...) A poor song, but with a brilliant middle eight.

Ah thanks. Now i understand it. So he left the middle eight and the similar sung part at the end

Is stupid really stupid
are you really smart?
That's how you stole my heart

Ok i can live without this vocals in the melnyk mix.

Yep. These segments very often are 8 bars long. In a standard pop song, that's about the perfect lenght of it, I think. But they can also be shorter or longer.
