Copy Control and Fundamental

Hi all,
I've ordered a copy of Fundamental from Japan, whick is reportedly copy controlled. Of course, I want to make my own CD-R for personal use with the album, new Fundamentalism tracks, b-sides, etc. Questions are:
1. Are copy controlled CDs of lesser quality (corrupted correction data, etc.)
2. Can software like Exact Audio Copy easily crack the protection?
3. Has EMI been using the easily cracked "hold the "ctrl" key while loading the disc" protection?
4. Anything else pertinent to disc quality and extracting the files for personal use.
