If I bought this reissue on the basis that it has a different sleeve would that make me a sad b*stard??

It's only £4.99 though, so it's not too bad. I guess Eagle Rock are hoping to cash in on a renewed interest in PSB because of Fundamental. It'll be the same old crappy content though...

Hopefully it will be better quality as the vhs is better than the original dvd!!

I enjoyed the documentary followed by the concert - it worked well I thought.

Yeah but the quality of the dvd is dreadful.

I'd buy it if the content were better than the last DVD - you can hardly hear Neil sing on that version. Bet it won't be though.

I've copied my VHS version to DVD and that's worked just fine

Ah ok - I ony ever had this on VHS.

The original DVD release was in 5:1 format only, with no 2 channel option - and I only have stereo speakers for listening to DVDs.

Therefore, my suspicion is that the two channels that can be heard on the DVD are the "ambient" channels with reverberation and crowd noise on, hence the muddiness of the overall sound.

Anyone watched this on a 5:1 system? I reckon you'd hear it in much better quality then. Can't believe the PSB would have sanctioned its original DVD release with the dodgy sound quality as I hear it.

I will buy it again for a fiver if I know it has 2 channel sound option for better quality.

only some of the original DVDs were bad, I bought another copy in Japan and it sounds great!
