I've read that he likes the PSB before

The Killers are a bit like Coldplay to me, I'd probably really like them if it weren't for their singer/frontman. Brandon sounds like an arrogant tosser!

Im 31 Steve, and I like the album. Bit passe now though! If they're a bit 'rock' for you, try the Mylo mix of Somebody Told Me or the Thin White Duke mix of Mr Brightside.
