I'm an American fan but I have a Sirius radio. One of the most interesting but also irratatting channels is BBC1. I have no idea what it is but they do play music (obivously stuff that is more popular in Britain than it is here) but unlike the ohter channels, they don't tell you what the song and artist are (they only have BBC1 Radio at the top and the name of the show at the bottom. Also, unlike the other Sirius stations, there is a lot of talk (in fact, ti should be under the talk stations more than the music stations). So is this the kind of station that would play I'm with stupid and if so on what show. Do any Sirius listeners know how their programming works (what is on when, etc?). Thanks in advance.

BBC Radio 1 is the station for "younger" listeners, Radio 2 targets the late 20s upwards, hence Radio 2 support PSB. Radio 1 did until New York city boy, since then, nothing.

You should be able to find tracklistings at bbc.co.uk/radio1. Some programmes (eg. Moyles in the morning) have more talk, others are mainstream (daytime), others more specialist (Zane Lowe(no relation), Westwood, Tong). I think Radio 1 and Radio 2 are both fantastic stations, free-to-air and no adverts.

Well, they'll have to play at least once...on Sunday in the chart show between 4pm and 7pm!
