From a blog: http://www.prompt-communications.com/bl ... rends.html

Google has launched a new product called Google Trends. This enables you to enter keywords and see how the number of searches for them has changed over time. It puts flags against peaks and troughs with links to relevant news stories. It even break down the searches to cities, regions and languages. The blogger used the Pet Shop Boys as an example and compared them to searches for Radiohead and Pink Floyd.

Since some people here are more interested in Erasure vs Pet Shop Boys rivalry, I did a more relevant comparision of interest as a example.

The Erasure thing is flawed, since you can see that some of the references it found were for the word and not the band.

Yeah, zazou showed me this last night...why are the pets so popular in South America?

Try Britney Spears...PSB only follows a single smooth line close to the zero
