Just because a song is good, doesn't qualify it for being a single...

thats what I always say. but this is a fantastic radio song. as I say, I trust diane warren who has a history of writing hits for people. their song sounds just as good as the act that record her songs and have hits with it.I am sure many here turn up their nose at michael bolton or brayanm adams and say their songs are hideous.

its not for you, the hardcore collector, or the DJ or the obsessive fan. its for the people who actually move the market. teens and housewives.

Exactly! And U think Numb will actually get heaps of Radio play backed up with the fact its written by DW with her previous track record etc etc.

From what I can tell from the way PSB singles perform in the charts... they've got loads of hard-core UK fans, and a pitiful amount of fairweather fans.

If Numb was a single, the hardcore PSB fans would buy it (especially if it came out across multiple CD singles) and unlike some other quality tracks from Fundamental, it's actually got the potential to crossover to the "teens and housewives" as mentioned above. In fact, I'd not be surprised at all if this is when the non-remixed version of PSB/Elton's "In Private" sees the light of day.

Whilst I think Integral and S&GS are better songs, I think Numb would be the better choice of single.

Numb as a single is a disaster that will probably scare people away from the album.

Fugitive shoud be a single.

Sodom & Gomorrah should be a single.

Numb should never ever ever be a single. Worst possible choice for a single on the album.
