Apparently Neil witnessed an escalator going crazy and said quote "Oh my God, someone is going to be killed".

And this warrants a thread? One comment about an escalator?

The escalator was full of people and some doors didn´t work that should have stopped people from going there.
Did I get it right ?

We need a thread about Neil in the toilet. Here's the quote:
"Oh my God, I've run out of toilet tissues"

A very quick translation, the "news"paper are quite crappy, a bit like the Sun, a lot of drama and exaggerations and one inch of truth are easily extended to a mile of article, so if the translation seem to suck, please consider that the article were not very good to begin with...
Pet Shop Boys in airport drama
Tennant: Someone could have been killed
It was dramatic when the Pet Shop Boys arrived in Sweden yesterday. The band found themselves right in the middle of action when an escalator bolted at Arlanda airport.
-I thought: "Oh my god, someone is going to get killed", says Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys.
Pet Shop Boys landed at Arlanda airport at twenty past two in the afternoon yesterday. When they were in a narrow passage on their way out of the arrival hall, a escalator bolted.
People were running upwards
-All of a sudden the escalators accelerated and went really fast, and I was thinking "Oh my God, someone is going to get killed here!" and then people started to run uppwards, says Neil Tennant, one half of the Pet Shop Boys.
He were right in the middle of the crowd during the drama.
-I was quite shook up afterwards, he says.
The doors got stuck
The security doors to let people out form the hall broke down at the same time that the bolting escalator filled with people. (I´m not quite sure about this, I think the reporter must have meant that the doors were shut and the escalator brought more and more people to the doors, since you dont really get on a bolting escalator AFTER it has bolted, but this is what the article says/Anny)
-Someone could easily been hurt, says Tennant.
Niclas Härenstam, Head of PR at Arlanda, confirms this event, but has still no explanation.
-The most important thing is that noone got hurt, he says.
