Summer tour has started! - 17 June '06
Pet Shop Boys last night played a sold-out concert at the Cirkus in Stockholm and the previous night the first show of their tour in Skein, Norway.
The show is an ambitious multi-media production, conceived and designed by theatre designer Es Devlin with choreography by Hakeem Osibudo. Neil and Chris are joined onstage by singers Sylvia Mason-James, Andy Love and Nick Clow and two young dancers, Swan and Nathan Holliday.
The song list includes new songs such as "Minimal" and "Integral" alongside older songs such as "Shopping", "Dreaming of the Queen" and "It's a sin". "The Sodom and Gomorrah Show" is already proving to be a favourite with audiences. On the first two dates a couple of semi-acoustic versions on "Home and dry" and "Before" were performed.

Does it mean "SAGS" could be a single?, if it was writen by Neil I don't know. Some people think that they are discussing with EMI this possibility yet. The reaction of the public with the new songs could be important.

I really hope so!!!

My feeling is that Neil and Chris wanted Sodom released as a single and EMI wernt having any of it.

Neil typing this statement in BOLD is probably his way of getting a point across in that Sodom should have been a single and the audience reaction to the song is proving his point.

First of all, I don't think it is Neil himself who personally updates the PSB site... Anyway, secondly, nickfruit took the liberty of editing the post and making that one phrase bold. Nickfruit, I like that

Or do you think that Redman travelled all the way from USA to Norway and Sweden? - Please note how all "Songtitles" are between double brackets, just like in Neil's answers in the Q&A message below.

The mentioning of S&G is a clear hint that PSB are playing with the thought to release it as a single. It is, of course, one of the best tracks on the album.

I think it's Neil's favourite (mine too). He suggested that TSAGS had to be single and EMI declined this option because of the title (Sodom).

Take look at the official site, do you think the note of "The album dedication" (again) is an idea of Redman?
