It looks like the regular UK CD 2 with a sticker claiming it's a promo

What do you mean "It looks like"..
It IS the regular CD2 with a Promo sticker.

you get those stickers on virtually every item you purchase from there but that doesn't make a standard 12" commercial vinyl with a promo sticker a promo because the actual sleeve and vinyl would need the relevant prints

Parlophone gets boxes of the final commercial release sent to their office for give aways for various reasons. They slap a promotional copy sticker on because its a freebie given away by them. So..as its already been said, these arn't promos...just freebie product given away by Parlophone. I guess they had all this stock sitting in around in a room somewhere and gave/sold it to the boys for recordstore.co.uk.
I did find out that the reason prices are more expensive on the official site is because EMI sells the stock to PSB and they don't give them any special rates. So...in order to cover all the costs of doing business....then the rates are where they are. Management understands that they are loosing business because of this, but they can't really do anything about it since EMI is unwilling to reduce their prices.
