I have just returned from a great weekend at that special place in our hearts, Blackpool.
What a place! Talk about fun. I was even walking down the prom & around the Pleasure Beach humming Pet Shop Boys songs, mainly Luna Park. (Although nothing dark about Pleasure Beach Park ). I know Chris used to live somewhere near the Pleasure Beach at South Shore but does anyone know anymore about his time & life in the "bright town" of Blackpool?

As a Blackpudlian (although i'd like to point out I live in Manchester now) I don't know exactly where he lived although it's quite close to the Pleasure Beach and the airport, around Highlield Road/Lytham Rd. He went to Arnold School (poshest in Blackpool) and used to be a glass collector in The Tower Lounge during summer. He comes back to B'pool 3 or 4 times a year and seems to enjoy his visits! I must admit that since leaving Blackpool I I have started to hate the place less and love supporting Blackpool FC who despite years of underachieving have a certain romantic/cult quality to them.
