What with the release date for Catalogue getting nearer and nearer i was wondering what is the most popular image us fans have about Pet Shop Boys ?
I just love the early record sleeves, especially photo's like "It's a Sin" or "Always on my mind" where the image represents a still from a film.

One of the most popular images I have is the cover sleeve for 'Actually". How can anyone get that out of their mind, Neil's famous yawn and Chris' glare.

the west end girls cover is great! Also that rare baseball pic from the Opportunities 12" or the larger version of the motorbike pic for "Deserve"

I love Eric Watson's Suburbia sleeve photographs - totally iconic. I am obviously not alone as one of the shots graces the cover of Catalogue.

Neil in a suit constitutes, for moi, the typical PSB 'look'. And both of them glaring. So detached but at the same time, intense will forever be PSB to yours truly.

If we're talking covers, I love the "Heart" cover, with Neil head bowed with suit and bowler hat etc. The Actually cover, where they are in a cave or whatnot which is special to me for obvious reasons.

I like the PopArt images. Chris looked cool with long hair, shades and a shirt. 8)

In fact so iconic, a cigarette brand in Germany once copied the stripey shirt/baseball cap look for a billboard campaign! I remember clearly spotting it near the main tube station where I used to live.

Generally I think any Eric Watson photography seems to distill the essence of PSB.

This i must agree with. I liked the way the "Heart" 12" Remix cover contrasted the two images from both the original "Heart" sleeves with just R E M I X printed across.
The sleeves with either no song titles or very small print were the best.

To me, Behaviour is the best they did in every way. Best album and best styling/image.

Even the full stop after the word Behaviour ? It bothers Neil & it bothers me. Great photo's though. Reflects the mood of the album.
