I thought our Aussie fans here might be interested to know that Catalogue is now available to purchase through Dymocks (in Sydney at any rate). I also checked at Borders but they didn't have it, not sure about A&R. I just got mine at lunch time. Gosh, I was a bit shocked at the cost for such a small tome! Still, it looks fabulous, and I can't wait to get it home and check it out.
As for the other releases this month i.e. Concrete & A Life in Pop, no word at all as to whether we will be getting local releases, but it seems doubtful at this stage. None of the music retailers have them listed in their coming soon sections, so can only assume we will have to reply on imports as usual. Also, no news at all on the Australian tour that Neil mentioned on Radio 6, so I think the probability of this happening is also dimming, sadly

Ooh how exciting...I'm pop into my Dymocks here in Auckland and have a look even though I've ordered it.
Yes..I'm guessing there will be no tour down-under.

It certainly did, but I'm so impatient I just couldn't wait. Knowing my luck it'll be in the Christmas bargin bins in a couple of months for half that. Debussey, NZ$120 seems pretty steep. Taking our exchange rates into account I would have though about $100 would be more appropriate.

I know its a bit steep but no other bookstore had heard of it - Dymocks offered to order, but like you I just couldnt wait. Either one's a serious collector or not.

I'm with Debussy.
Even though I have it on order from Amazon UK (bundled with some other stuff so it won't ship for a week or so) I'm going out to today and if I find it I'm going to grab it - It's worth the extra dosh to have it NOW!!!!

You might be disappointed....all of the copies I've seen have been shrink wrapped! No peeking aloud!
