Australian Tour still a possibility!

Australian fans should not give up hope just yet! My friend Paul in NY went to the Radio City concert on Saturday night and managed to get into the backstage party afterwards where he asked the boys tour manager if they were still planning to come to Australia. The answer was that they are currently planning for March 2007. We'll all believe it when we see it of course, but how exciting if it actually happens. :D

Great news. Maybe the long-rumoured Sydney Mardi Gras appearance may next year even happen. :)

Cool news huh? It'll be what..13 years since the Discovery Tour came down under?

A Mardi Gras gig would be very cool and surely a sure-fire winner given the length of time between visits and their iconic status in the gay community.
Anyhow, it'll be much warmer down here in March.

Really hope this happens! Been hinted at a few times. Would be nice if Closer To Heaven got produced for the Mardi Gras season as well.

I've read on the inthemix.com.au forums that PSB are on the Good Vibrations line-up for February in Australia. Lineup confirmed tomorrow 1 Nov.
I do hope.....

hmm could make sense! But this looks like the European tour starts later next year! This also seems true, cause we still have no announcement from the ticket shops for EU tour dates, which already should be out for dates in January and February 2007.
I'm also really curious for some South America dates!

Interesting rumour, and a quick search of the internet shows it seems quite a strong one too. Still, as Gardner points out, the timing doesn't quite fit if they are touring Europe in the New Year. GV starts in Melbourne on 10th Feb, so seems a little early. My only concern is that they will only do the GV festival circuit and not do any individual live shows. That would be really disappointing. I'm not a big fan of festivals to be honest. But I would really love to see them perform at the Opera House.

I will be closely monitoring the Good Vibrations website today to see what happens.

I've been watching the GV website today as well hoping for breaking news hahahah how sad. The GV myspace says it'll be this evening announcement (hurry already)

A festival would be OK but I'd prefer a proper show and Potemkin at the Opera House.
Actually I'd prefer anything anywhere as I've yet to see them live.

Ah, yes, I am just as sad... (watching it too).

Hopefully while PSB are out here, they will do a proper show and Potemkin at the Opera House as well as touring with Good Vibrations festival. :)

Potemkin would be cool, but a bit eclectic considering they haven't vistited much.

If they visit at all, I'd hope they do a small greatest-hits performance, an a blamy Sydney afternoon.
