Went to see them at the Carling in Glasgow last night. Superb gig, when we got Blue Monday before they went off we questioned what the encore would be?
Love Will Tear Us Apart!!!
So good!

Not been looking at info on their gigs to be honest, but I still badly want to see them live.

I got two tickets on Ebay for £20 after missing out on the original sale. Well worth going to see.

Rather than start a new thread for this, I'll use this one.
Underground dance artist
Dub Kult has released a free cover version of New Order's classic Blue Monday. MP3 available
here.
I like it!

Haha- I was just about to search to see if they were doing gigs near me cos I hadn't realised they were touring... then I noticed it was a thread from 2006.

Unless there is another re-union I wouldn't expect any more gigs. Hooky has fallen out with the rest of them (probably Barnie more than anyone else) and that's that for New Order.
Luckily, I got to see them very shortly before they split up again at Wolverhampton, where I was naive enough to go and stand at the front and get crushed half to death!

I was there, too. Excellent gig. Unbeknown to me, someone from the 808 State forum that I visit was there as well - all the way from Hertfordshire!
The support act was a bit guff, though.

Yeah, I knew they'd split- that was why I got all excited about seeing info for a gig. I was at the Academy in Brum- amazing gig! I was at the barrier too- right between Hookie and the rather fabulous Mr S. It was a little insane, but well worth it.

I saw them live but they very rarely do a varied setlist. The JD material is OK but you sort of wish that they could have hand picked more from their albums and singles, rather than the staple dozen. Anyhow, I guess that's it then. I'm bored of Hooky and Barney's rift.
