I'm not sure but I read somewhere here that on Robbie's album (haven't got it myself yet) 'She's Madonna' and 'We're the Pet Shop Boys" are credited as being performed by Robbie Williams and the Pet Shop Boys. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
So that means that once 'She's Madonna' becomes a single, they're gonna be credited on the sleeve and in the charts for it?
Christmas No 1 here we come.
PSB #1 on the singles charts again is a magnificent dream coming true (with a little help from Robbie.... and Madonna of course)
all these years I wondered why they didn't collaborate/release a single with anyone who's still BIG on the charts, that would bring them to #1 again.. I think even releasing the Elton gay duet (which some of you despise) might have stood a chance.

The third single is rumored to be 'The 80s'. There seems to be a competition running on, to direct the videoclip.

The tracks ARE both credited as "Robbie Williams with Pet Shop Boys".
The other collaborations on the album (eg. Lily Allen) are all listed as "Robbie Williams" alone.
It's a fantastic album, by the way. Thoroughly recommended.

If She's Madonna is a single it won't be until the new year.

Doesn't necessarily mean it will be a single.

I know, I was just hoping for an (early) X-mas release.
But it WILL be a single, with all the talk and every publication raving about it.

I haven't seen that many (non PSB fans) reviews highligting She's Madonna.
Neil did say they worked on 2 tracks, one of which may be a single so fingers crossed.

It probably won't be a single anyway. If it is it would have to be dramatically remixed so it doesn't sound like a 90's PSB b-side.

It'll be the fourth single because "She's Madonna" be performed by PSB, Robbie featuring Madonna in the Brits
We can dream.

Have to disagree BlueSwan - it's a lush track with a great melody and sounds fantastic IMHO.
I don't think The 80s will be a single due to the lyrical content and incidentally Robbie has had short films made to accompany a number of the tracks I believe, it's just that the one for The 80s will be chosen via a competition running at the moment.
Cheers

i assume this was exactly the sound robbie had had in mind. he didn't want anything over-the-top.

The Brits are in February. So Lovelight comes out next month then you think there will be a 3rd AND 4th single by the time Brits come round?!
Why is appearing on the back-slapping awards a "dream"?

Played 'She´s Madonna' yesterday at work, of course nobody knows about the PSB involvement on it (apart of me)...the immediate comment was: "hey! what a gay song he did!!"...

I still haven´t listened to the album but will soon.

It´d be great to see PSB being number 1 on the charts.
