Nightlife is the only current major PSB cd that I'm without a legitimate copy of (long story....) and while I'd like to buy one I keep on hearing that a 2 disc "further listening" edition is on its way so have forced myself to waitm, since I'm missing all the bsides from that era anyway. Any info?

We have dozens of Release "special editions" still on sale all over Thailand at 399 Baht, (5 pounds 70 pence) and the extra disc is probably half of what will also be on the Release 'further listening'...

Don't even get me started on how f*** late Nightlife Further Listening is. It was due out with Performance DVD and still nout! We are lead to believe Spring 07. If that happens I'll eat my Life In Pop DVD.
I hope For All of Us, Action Man Mix of I don't know what you want but I can't give it any more, Can I Be The One (Love Life) original demo for Alcazar, the B-Sides, Drunk Demo, and 1 totally unreleased from Nightlife appear on the bonus disc for Nightlife and for Release I'd like to see A Powerful Friend, the B-Sides, E-Mail Demo, Baby - demo for Alcazar.
If we don't get them soon I will do something.

I honestly dont think it will be happening now.
I must say tho i wouldnt be suprised if they re-master all the albums again at some point - it's been 5.5 years now since those further listening discs came out and i'm not sure if PSB/EMI wouild benefit from puting out Nightlife & Release in the same format.
They would be better off doing what DM have done with their remasters.

Surely you jest?
DM = Depeche Mode
I think their remasters are crap! Give me a CD with all the b-sides, un-released songs and alt. mixes/edits anyday!

I'm a MASSIVE DM fan and have actually held of fbuying their remasters though I know I will at some point... I'm still not sold on remixing an album in SACD (I know it's not the same but it just makes me think fo the awful quality of old mono albums when bumped up to Stereo--why fiddle with a track and give it more sound than It was intended?) and I don't like the format--I must prefer PSB's album and bonus disc format... It's too bad that a Nigthlife reissue is looking less likely. maybe I'll wait till Jan and after the Xmas flow on my money and see if anything'sbeen announced. thanks kids!
