Just spent the last week on holiday in New York and made a point of taking in a few PSB related sites. I saw where 7th Avenue meets Broadway, took a picture of Applejacks diner where Bobby O and Neil first went for a coffee or something. Couldn't find Unique studios though (where West End girls was first recorded).
Listened to a lot of PSB whilst i was there- Two divided by zero and New York city boy especially. They sounded great walking in Manhattan in the arly evening, just as dusk was falling and people were going out for the evening.
Did I miss any PSB related sites? I couldn't think of any others...

Sounds like I got most of them in then- thanks
As an aside, one thing that was interesting was that in the Virgin Megastore on Times Square they didn't list PSB under "Rock/Pop" and instead they were over in the "Dance" section. I wonder if being seen as a Dance act in the US has helped their credibility (if not sales)
They had a good selection of PSB stuff there too but nothing that isn't avaliable in the UK

It seems to be the way that Virgin in the US sees the boys these days - same thing at Virgin in San Francisco - a bit annoying, they are so much more than "just" dance.

Next time also visit the 'Virgin' in Union Square, it's not full of tourists and the lay-out is better (and it's where Neil and Chris held their recent signing after the NYC concert!).
At least in that store it's categorized under "DANCE/ELECTRONIC".

Thanks for the tip. I didn't really like the Virgin there but couldn't find another one!
I did find quite a cool independent record shop in Greenwich Village though which had some PSB stuff in it

Oooooh, which import shop? The best two are "Rebel, Rebel" and "Record Runner". I'm in those about every weekend of my life -- the owners know me and tell me when something is in that I'd love...

Unique studios is, I believe, long gone..
As a native NYer, I can say that Manhattan is especially conducive to walking about listening to PSB.. "Two Divided", and all of "Please".. that's my youth I guess. The ambient sounds in Please, slushing rain and voices,.. hard to describe but on a good rainy day in midtown, 1988 or so, listening to PSB on my Walkman (!), I could try and pretend it was London. But really it was NYC, fabulous in itself.
I remember walking down in Soho and Tribeca on a freezing winter's night listening to Introspective.. the further i walked, the more immensely the Twin Towers loomed.. they really were astonishing in scale to a lonely art student out on an aimless walk..
PSB were wonderful accompaniment on those walks.
