Ok so i'm fascinated with Pet Shop Boys' Backing singers/vocalists (See Left to HER own devices thread) at the moment.
Sally Bradshaw has me hooked on Classical Vocalists & after watching the movie The Dish several times recently, mainly for the movie soundtrack. Australian singer Tina Arena sounds as if she could do wonders on a Tennant/Lowe song....sorry Sylvia.
Don't you think Sylvia Mason James has done her bit...make way for some fresh talent?

I think they should get West End Girls to do some backing vocals.

Although I really like Sylvia Mason-James, I heard *one* better backing singer on a Pet Shop Boys record: Pauline Taylor. She did backing vocals on For Your Own Good. Her voice is absolutely fantastic and I would love to hear her on PSB tracks more often.

Or then no backing singers at all like Release tour and 2004 Summer tour.

Sylvia is the best. She should do more vocals for them. Perhapes another duett like "Metamophosis". Her voice is absolut fantastic.

Sylvia could actually "kill" poor West End girls with her vocal. Could West End girls really sing? I highly doubt that. PSB always use real live singers. Forget about West End girls - there won't be "Britney Spears Disneyworld" intervention into PSB world!
