I'm not sure if this has been talked about before...but I was shocked to hear "opportunities" used as the intro music for this show! It was a 2 hour episode (being the first one) and i only started watching about 30 min into it completely out of curiousity.

have PSB ever been used in the opening music of a US show before?!

Ummm, my understanding is that "Opportunities" is not just used for the UK version but also for the US original. I think your discography thing needs correcting...

Gardner,

Also used here in the u.s.:

So Hard - Monday night live (after monday night football) early 90's thru mid 90's on ABC

Go West - Toyota car commercial mid 90's to late 90's (these commercials where always on)

A couple of tracks off Very was used in one episode of I believe it was called Central Park West from the produces of Melrose Place and 90210 in 95 or 96?

Don't forget The Superchumbo remix of Sexy Northener for an ice-skate advert (NOS WK Schaatsen / sports magazine, 2005/2006) and Domino Dancing for the "Dancing with the stars" tv advert campaign of 2006 in the Netherlands!

(They also use Opportunities for "Beauty and the Geek" 2006 in Holland too!)

In the Night was the theme for The Clothes Show, which I only know about because Chris brags about it in the sleeve notes on Alternative.

It was an episode were Homer was potrayed as Gay since he was hanging out with a few Gay friends, and he goes into a Boutique to buy nice clothes and during this time they are playing West End girls.

Pretty Funny.
