Really For me it's hard to believe 'cos I have listened so much times that it a declaration of love by Robbie to Madonna, his teenager dream. But your idea could be true, but why does Robbie would speak about a priest?

So that explains why Robbie dresses up in drag in the video.

I think it's about "someone" who is dating Madonna - not neccessarily Robbie himself. It's a classic PSB style lyric / storyline I think. I like Robbie anyway but I think some of the greatness definitely rubbed off on him that day - great work with the lyrics.
