Neil at Koko....

I went with a couple of other fans to the KOKO club in Camden, London last night for the 'Smile 07' charity event. This is in aid of families with members living with HIV. Two girls gave their experiences and it was very moving. One of them was only eight years old when she caught the virus through blood transfusion. They told how this charity is helping them in different ways.
The main act on stage was the Scissor sisters.....and it was wild!! The show was very good although there was lots of pushing and shoving from people trying to squeeze to the front to get a better view and take photos.
NEIL joined Jake from Scissor sisters on stage for the the second last song. Neil walked on and started 'Love comes quickly'.....and this lead into Jake coming on and singing his own song 'It can't come quickly enough'! Neil sang along with Jake's song and everyone was trying to take more photos. I got a few.....need to check how good they are. It was a really good night

I like Neil's new hairstyle (it's new as far as I know). This ultra-short cut looks very good. It makes him look younger.
What is Neil doing with the leaflet in his hands? Would it be the song lyrics?

I just read Kelly Osbourne introduced Scissor Sisters and said that a member of her family is HIV positive

I share the same idea. That must have been the lyrics of the Scissor Sisters' song.
Imagine Neil's face if he'd have had to learn by heart the lyrics
(saying "I can't") --> sign of old age

Yes....that was song lyrics Neil had in his hand! He had a smile on his face in looking at that sheet and trying to look at the audience at the same time.
Kelly Osborne did introduce SS and did say that a member of her family was HIV. She was nearly in tears and could hardly finish her sentence.

JAKE SHEARS broke into a camp duet with NEIL TENNANT at a SCISSOR SISTERS charity gig.
Jake joined forces with the PET SHOP BOYS star for Love Comes Quickly at London’s Koko club on Sunday. GERI HALLIWELL was in the audience.
The cover of Neil’s 80s single Love Comes Quickly featured the other Pet Shop Boy, CHRIS LOWE, in a baseball cap.
Tennant called the image “incredibly gay” – but it’s clearly been trumped in the gay stakes by Jake’s Disney suit. Fabulous, Jake.
