On August 4th as part of the 'Pop Stars travel to the Stars' initiative Neil Tennant will be launched into space on a trip to the Moon.

Neil commented "I've always been a really big fan of the Moon, its dead good, particularly the shadows, so when Dame Judi Dench and Sir Bono asked me, I thought it would be fun. I'm not really an astronaut, so I'm not sure if I have to bring my oxygen but I do have a dressing gown and a nice pair of slippers".

Chris declined the invitation. He was really gunning for Phobos.

I wonder if he will visit Boy Strange while he is up there - he must be really lonely.

Oh yes, I heard about that too!

he should take robbie with him and leave him there...

You can get really good dust on the moon, apparently.
