Cubism CD?

Hi all!
In the latest issue of "Literally," it states that there will be a soundtrack CD issued with the "Cubism" DVD as the PSB were pleased with the soundtrack. Because I live in North America and a NTSC region 1 DVD hasn't been issued, I haven't bought the package. Was a CD indeed issued with the DVD (most retailers state it's a two disc affair)? If so, what was the CD tracklist (as I'm sure they couldn't fit the whole soundtrack on an 80 minute CD)?

A lot these days in the US, they are making the DVD's with a cd. Do not know why, we do not really get that in europe. I did read that.

That way all of the fans who already purchased thier copy will have to purchase the North American version as well.

There is no CD. This idea was obviously cancelled. All you have to do is rip the dvd using something like DVD Audio Extractor and you then have the soundtrack in MP3 format anyway so we dont really need a CD! :D

No, some of us need one more reason to buy second copy of this DVD, more prior than different outersleeve.

I don't understand: will the Cubism US edition be available with a bonus CD? :|

In the US these days, any live music DVD comes out as a CD/DVD and usually comes packaged like a cd so it throws you off a bit, it just has two discs inside.

The cd will have some songs from the DVD and the DVD has the whole concert. Not like its bonus material or anything.

When I was in the US, I remember seeing a lot of DVD's like that.

Pet Shop Girl, could you be so kind as to quote an extracts from Literally (do you have it?) about this CD, please?
I don't know to whom I should trust now ...

I told you that if you can't stop buying magazines with naked men you'll never have money for Literally.

Ask Korneluk about that...

Literally notes that N&C liked the mix of the concert so much they decided to include a CD with the DVD.

There is NO indication that this was a US exclusive, nor does it indicate where this CD edition would be available. So we can assume it was to be the standard release. And since the UK/Euro version does not include a CD we can further assume this plan was canceled for whatever reason.

So: No bonus CD.

Oh yes, I read this yesterevening (thanks to a kindhearted girl who helped me get it!). Only time can tell - don't say "No" now, without official denial (don't count this as it).
By the way, when this issue was written?

I quite liked the mix of the concert as well. As with all the live DVDs I buy, I record them in real time using Audio Hijack Pro (Mac) which rips the audio stream to a high-quality mp3 file (usually a fairly high bitrate). Of course, you can eq the sound to your liking as the DVD is playing, and with Cubism I bumped up the bass just slightly. :)

Then, the mp3 is converted to the ATRAC3+ format so I can listen on either my Sony HD5 or my MZ-RH1 minidisc with decent headphones (Shure E4c). Pure audio bliss, in my opinion!

Anyway, more info that you all probably wanted to know!

Why don't they invent a disc that can be played as a CD or DVD.
