I like the look of vinyl, I always look at them when I go into HMV or anywhere else that sells them... they just look cool. However, I'm not gonna buy a record player and start buying them.
The only vinyl that I own is the White Stripes "Rag and Bone" red vinyl that was given away free with NME. That article mentions the White Stripes "Icky Thump" vinyl being a best seller, the reason for that is probably because it goes with the one given away free a week before... I know I was tempted to buy it just so I can put it with the red one.

I remember looking at the grooves and thinking, oh, thats a slow song and that ones an upbeat one simply by how they looked.
it was nice looking back on it. now 8 tracks,I remember my parents had them in the basement in an 8 track player and looking back how funny it was that they were trapped into having to hear the track straight thru, no rewinds or forwards. the player was like, screw you, your just going to have to wait till the end and play it over again.

I have 1 too. A "leftover" from my DJing days. Indeed sounds GREAT.
I love the look and feel of vinyl but CDs are so easy.
I got a silver one.

I still have all the early PSB Albums on Vinyl (CD now as well)
But when my record player broke I bought a new one that did'nt have a turntable as I got caught up in all that CD is the future madness. I would like oneday to go back to having both, but CD's are easier.
Now I have everything they have done (99.9%) on my MP3. It's sort of my back up player if anything went wrong.

I think it's safe to say D4 is happening a bit far away but I really like it. I think it was D3 as a substitude for London and D4 for Integral BUT by the looks of it Integral gets a release also, well at least in some countries.
No sign of D4 or Integral in Holland yet. A friend of mine who works in an entertament store can't find anything in the computer (Yet).
