Not to start a rant, but I've noticed how popular Fox is around the world.
We mostly go by NBC, ABC, PBS, CNN, and whatever but FOX News.

I wouldn't say "popular" so much as "available". The Faux News empire has extended its tentacles nearly everywhere. Luckily, I dont' have pay TV.
(oh and the USA can have Rupert Murdoch, thanks)

ALL news agencys push their own views out there....viewers correspond and pick a station that feeds them what they want to hear according to their own political leanings.
so people fight back the only way they can and say FOX only reports the good news.
then one can say MSNBC is interested in putting out mostly the bad.so,its a pointless argument that cancels itself out.

FOX NEWS is the only conservative news outlet. They are more balanced than the other nes channels such as ABC, CBS, MSLSD, CNN etc. They are all socialist networks with a blatantly obvious leftwing bias. FOX can't help but first mention the leftwing point-of-views because they always make headlines. Therefore, once FOX has mentioned the counterpoint, they present their own perspective. This is what balance is all about. The problem is that they lie and distort news in order to push their socialist agenda. The ignore news that would be unpleasant for the Democrat party and blow non-news out of proportion when they can hurt the Republicans. The media are the Fourth Power in a democracy. They are there to give people the latest news so that they can make up their own minds. But when the media stop doing that and instead push a political agenda and act as the mouthpieces of one party, then democracy is at stake. If it hadn't been for those corrupt media, Barry Hussein Obama would be a no-name no-brainer. And rightly so. He is a Marxist who hates his own country with delusions of grandeur. But he's the media's darling and they never ever ask him any hard-hitting questions. But people are waking up to the media bias and thus more and more leftwing stations and papers are losing circulation. And yet, the media are still out there pushing their socialist agenda till the bitter end. They're just pathetic.

FOX "News" is the propaganda wing of the Republican party in the US, there to fan the flames of racism, homophobia, and anti-immigrant feeling to stir up what's left of the working class so they vote for more screwing-over by the corporate overlords and Bush cronies who've managed the astonishing feat of absolutely wrecking our nation (to say nothing of another certain nation), our economy, our reputation in the world. While they abscond with the trillion dollars they've looted.
FOX is the spokes-channel for these criminal gangsters , traitors in every sense of the word.
And "alig" is still a base idiot.

and MSNBC and CNN are the propaganda wing of the left wing and democrats ,there to champion the causes of immigrants and minoritys (just as long as those immigrants and minoritys arent living anywhere near the dems and liberal elites mansions.)
it just goes round and round.you say FOX is propaganda, I say yours is and on and on it goes.

When Fox News first appeared here, many people thought it was political satire.
Do you know there are two CNNs. One is for the world and one is for US consumption.
I was due to fly to the US once and I watched a report on CNN about something bad
that Israeli troops had done. When I arrived in the US the same story was being
broadcast but all watered down to not say anything bad about Israel. The studio
and presenter were different too.

Fox news is laregly seen as a joke in Britain. It's a kind of self-parody of itself and watched by people for a laugh. It seems that the target audience are people who are naive or uneducated and are blind to the tricks and emotive technques they use to attempt to construct a story.
There's a few good documentary's out there, you might find some on youtube, featuring ex-employees, who reveal the underhand tricks they use and the bullying tactics.
Imagine a version of The Daily Mai/Expressl magnified ten times and then transfer it to television and you'll know what I'm talking about.
The BBC is seen as slightly left leaning as is ITV to some extent, but ITV again is tabloid fodder for the proles.
Am I the only one who finds alig's comments about Obama bordering on the racist. Perhaps the mods are prepared to stand for that?

The mods (or more correctly, admin) have shown themselves pitifully unwilling to deal with his nastiness. Sad to say, the only option open to you if you want to be spared from his racism and lies is to put him on ignore. I wouldn't normally recommend that as it's really a last resort, but we've been left with no other option.

Would this be the same impartial Fox News that called Florida for George W.Bush in 2000? The very same Fox News that employed John Ellis - a Bush family member - to head up its election coverage?
Fox is like a news channel run by The Onion.
