Ok, we all know that we all have excellent taste in music
I'm wondering if we all have excellent taste in films/actors/actresses too!
So what inspires you? Who gets you hot under the collar.
Let me start with my favourite actor, and I'm proud to see he's an honourary Corkman too having lived here as a child, Mr Ralph Fiennes. Ok, he's a hottie gone off the boil a bit, but it's his amazing skills as an actor that I really admire. He can say so much in just one glance, one small expression. One reviewer of Schindler's List said the last time he saw eyes that cold it was watching Jaws.
So, is there anyone who gets you running to the cinema no matter what type of film they're in?

I've got very poor knowledge when it comes to actors. There isn't any film star i'd go see. There are a few that wind me up, such as Tom Cruise and Michael Caine.
Catherine Zeta Jones would be my choice as most attractive and favourite actor outside of movies would be David Jason.

I've always enjoyed watching Tom Hanks, from Philadelphia onwards. I particularly enjoyed The Green Mile.

Shawshank Redemption got two mentions there. What an amazing film. And what a talented actor Tim Robbins is too.
Other fave actors:
Sean Penn
Kevin Bacon
Alan Rickman
Tom Hanks
Liam Neeson
And since In Bruges, I think Colin Farrell is quite good too.
Kate Winslet is an excellent actress. Michelle Pfeiffer too.
Colin Firth is lovely to look at but not a good actor. Unless he's playing Mr D'arcy. Again.

^^ I agree, Shawshank Redemption is one of the best films ever; it just has everything.
And you are right about Colin Firth! Maybe he was sent to this world to perfectly impersonate Mr. Darcy! (When saying this I`m thinking especially of the superb TV series from 1995 "Pride & Prejudice" - with Jennifer Ehle)

Bill Murray: The deadpan and melancholic personification of the raised eyebrow and knowing smirk.
Drico.

Oh yeah, forgot Michael C. Hall for Dexter.
I had the pleasure of interviewing him last year too.

Ah yes Drico, how could I forget Bill Murray? Lost in Translation was the perfect role for him.
Corina, normally I would avoid Jane Austin like the plague but I have that Pride and Prejudice series on DVD and have watched it many times. Nothing at all to do with Mr D'Arcy!
