Erm, so now you don't even have to buy a track for it to count? Oh dear.

Perhaps all the nutters from the Queen battle the other week can listen to PSB 24/7 and prevent NJTom from killing himself?

I honestly don't get all this bullshit. They are ruining it. The Hit Parade was something of a treasure.

I think a fairer way of doing the chart was to decide placing's by the amout in £££ a single sells. So a physical at £1.99 is nearly worth three 79p downloads. It will make it more competitive for all artists.

I know you like your charts Dave, but they really are dead now. I'm sure the official chart will start using airplay sooner rather than later too, and they'll be even more full of r'n'b dross than they are now. Beyonce will probably end up with the complete top ten.

There did used to be something special about the full top forty played in its entirety for three hours on a Sunday afternoon. I don't even listen when PSB release their singles anymore because of the two f*cktards who present the show. I don't want to know who gave you a STD this week, Cotton! Just play the bloody singles!!!!!

Yeah i did like the chart rundown. Not really interested anymore though. I'm still interested in how yesteryear acts perform and i'll tune in to see where PSB chart, although it's impossible to listen to the full 3 hour crap. The last time i listened to a full chart rundown must have been when Drunk charted at number 8. That was 9 years ago.

You're definatly right about it being dead and thats not because of the current acts. Time moves on and the days we pushed our hero's up the pop chart are long gone. It just bores me that they have to always tamper with things that have been going so well for years.

If they do that, they may as well just do a Billboard and throw in airplay too. Streaming and airplay are basically the same thing anyway, only the former gives you more control.

Yeah. And the bands with a small number of fanatic fans will
use software to continuously stream their band.

Oh wait a minute. That's us.

Bring it on. :P

You never know,

Nickname will just repeat a stream of "Beautiful People" in order to nudge the boys from #161 to #160 that week.
