Well, Mark and Lard are leaving Radio One later this year so daytime Radio One is now completely rubbish.

I think that I finally have closure on PSB not getting playlisted.

Never liked them much, to be honest. The Breakfast show was just too surreal at that ungodly time of day

I wish they'd take the show to Radio 2 and play what they want to play. They've always made no effort to disguise their disgust at some of the crap they're forced to play.

Can't see R2 going for the show itself though... Shame.

Once M+L leave R1 I won't be listening to it again. And there ends another chapter in the life.

Well, that's it. They just finished their last show on Radio 1.

They didn't play any Pet Shop Boys even though they played some of their favourite tracks.

Still a good show though!

No, but they did play 'Mull of Kintyre' from Lard's record collection (emphasis on the 'kin - had me in stiches).

There was also a rather good rendition of the 'Horse classic 'Why is it always dairylea?' performed with Travis.

The final song they got to play was 'Crazy, crazy nights' by Kiss
