on my PS3......christ, the picture and sound really are s**t.....

still, having a good dance whilst doing the ironing.....the kids are all on the other PC on the Ceebeebies website (saviour) and the wife is at work.....

what you guys up to this depressing Sunday?

I love "Somewhere" but my old tape is rough and I recently bought a DVD to replace it. I had heard that the sound was not good and it certainly is not anywhere near as good as the old tape even put through good amplification equipment. Still nice to have in the collection as its the only stage performance where there is a decent amount of "Bilingual".

As for the rest of Sunday afternoon - going to laze around with a glass of Vodka and the Sunday newspaper (full of food)

I'm doing loads of washing ..As for the kids - one's playing his computer games, my daughter is doing nothing but moaning at me all the time, i'll be glad when she goes back home, and my other boy has just gone out thank god.. Might try and grab a couple of hours to myself tonight when they're in bed, put a few candles on and watch a DVD later if i'm lucky that's about as interesting as it gets for me

that sounds fine...simple is sometimes best. a meal, a dvd, maybe some wine..? what dvd tho?

Somewhere, i haven't watched for ages.. Not sure what dvd yet, i would say Pandemonium but i'd have to have that on really loud so maybe not lol.. I've got loads of dvd's but i need to watch 'The Shawshank Redemption' again so that'll probably be the one i pick

oooohh.......classic film! i might watch 'the lovely bones' tonight!

I think the problem with the sound in Somewhere is that it's only 5.1 audio, there's no stereo mix. So, when you play it back on a stereo system, it bounces everything down to two channels and it sounds terrible. I don't understand why there's no stereo mix, seeing as VHS only does 2 channels.

This is funny. I'm having my gf teach me how to iron this afternoon. That's right, I'm 28 and I never learned. Also, I'm watching It Couldn't Happen Here on laserdisc, which is the subject of a post I just made.

haha...brilliant.....seems like PSB are the way to go when doing the ironing then!

And the washing up! I always listen to them when i'm at the kitchen sink lol

Somewhere....ahh....great memories of the Savoy gig and touching Neil's shoe as he approached the front of the stage
