Amazing talent. Loved Columbo obviously and his role in Wings of Desire was also inspiring.

really sad to hear this. spent so much growing up watching his show of his old fashioned, humble, yet smart as a whip detective.
his daughter went to syracuse university the college I went to in syracuse.if memory serves me correct he went there also, or worked there.
anyways he will be missed.

I still watch Columbo late on Saturday nights.
I like the lack of violence with good stories.
Almost makes the 70's appealing.
Apparently he had Alzheimers.
