El jefe espiritual del grupo islamista Al Muhayirun, el jeque Omar Bakri, considera que la reivindicación por parte de Al Qaeda de los atentados de Madrid es "auténtica" y que estos ataques suponen "un mensaje de Al Qaeda dirigido al mundo entero". Asimismo, sugirió que Italia podría ser el próximo objetivo.


Según declaró desde Londres, donde reside, al diario italiano 'La Repubblica', todas las páginas de Internet y los foros islamistas de Oriente Próximo han mostrado su satisfacción por la "gran victoria de Al Qaeda" en Madrid. "Creo que la carta (dirigida al diario 'Al Qods alArabi') es auténtica y que los atentados han sido cometidos por Al Qaeda", prosiguió el fundador de Al Muhayirun, movimiento supuestamente vinculado al jefe supremo de Al Qaeda en Europa, Abu Qatada.


"Es un mensaje de los partidarios de Al Qaeda, en nombre de Al Qaeda, dirigido al mundo entero", declaró asimismo Bakri a AFP. "Al Qaeda ya no es un solo grupo, se ha convertido en un fenónemo del mundo musulmán que resiste a la gran cruzada de Estados Unidos contra el Islam", añadió. "Me sorprende que el Gobierno español no tenga en cuenta que los islamistas en el mundo musulmán y en Europa consideran estos atentados una gran venganza contra las atrocidades cometidas por España en Irak", prosiguió.


Bakri dio a entender que Italia podría ser el próximo objetivo de los grupos de Al Qaeda en Europa, y citó para ello el comunicado atribuido a las Brigadas Abú Hafs al Masri, vinculadas a Al Qaeda, que fue publicado ayer por el diario londinense en lengua árabe 'Al Qods al Arabi'.


Al respecto, el ministro italiano del Interior, Giuseppe Pisanu, puso hoy en duda estas amenazas contenidas en el mensaje. "Esta organización ya había reivindicado otros atentados y las reivindicaciones no fueron confirmadas posteriormente", declaró en una entrevista al diario hablado de la cadena pública RAI1.


Este comunicado, explicó Bakri, "ha prometido tres operaciones: una denominada 'El tren de la muerte', en España; la otra, 'La humareda negra de la muerte', en Italia; y otra más llamada 'El viento de la muerte en Estados Unidos'". "Todas estas operaciones tienen nombre y pienso que deberíamos tomar la amenaza de Al Qaeda en serio", concluyó.

political correctness is just another form of racism as it isolates people and puts them on a pedestal, however well meaning it may be. This week 50cent has been saying how he doesn't like gays and what goes on in their mind, imagine if a gay artist had said he didn't like blacks - their records would be instantly dropped from most radio stations and certain people would be up in arms, witness the furore over Eminem. 50cent does like lesbians though

That's how it is these days. You are spot on, their would be uproar. Like the MOBO awards for black musicians, if their was a white awards it would be the same. No one seems to be up in arms when black people are racist or discriminate. It seems to be o.k to say whatever they like.

Dave's point about the MOBO's is spot on. To me, MOBO's is Music Of Bland Origin, of course being white man if I said "black origin" to a coloured person, I would be classed as racist (especially with the ethnic communities nearby).

When at work, if I've got to check up or look out for someone we've got to describe them as either 'white or non white'. Absolutely ridiculous.

For example, if there was a MOWO there would be a HUGE uproar about that. It's gone too far and it will always remain a non win situation.

what is EE UU?

what is there to be careful about?
If it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen and there's not much you can do about it... apart from being on the lookout for 'suspect packages"...
Perhaps we should all stay indoors from now on.
Only to hope the roof won't fall down on our heads.
